BijzonderStrafrecht.nl Academy organizes post-academic training and educational programs for professionals with a specific interest in criminal (procedural) law. We are especially renowned for organizing niche courses in the area of white collar crime as well as courses which relate to the intersection of criminal law and other areas of law (such as environmental law, insolvency law, privacy, labor law).
Our courses, provided by expert professionals, are of high academic level, but also provide practicalities to be applied in daily practice.
The Acadamy was launched in 2012 - and has since organized over one hundred courses, seminars and conferences, as well numerous in house courses.
Approach
Our approach is inter-disciplinary in ensuring that every thematic aspect of criminal law, academic and practical, is taken into account; inter-sectoral in linking practitioners with researchers, the public sector with the private sector, academics with civil society; integrative, in providing knowledge and hands-on tools applicable to different parts of the world; and sustainable, in offering lasting solutions.
We offer standard and tailor made courses, trainings and opportunities for dialogues and networking.
Target audience
Our courses are attended by attorneys, public prosecutors, judges, academics, tax lawyers, accountants, policy makers, compliance officers, in-house councils, law enforcement officers and qualified non-legal professionals including company directors, employees of financial and insurance companies, accounting bodies and regulatory bodies.
